Way to go Coach, Henry Kissinger move over...
As read in the Cleveland Daily Banner Hatchett comment by former chief-deputy Hatchett, "this matter should be investigated fully instead of being swept under the rug." ...Hatchett is doing an 180* flip-flop on his recent comment, which was that the alleged incident was "just politics" and money should not be spent on an investigation--now he is refusing to 'bury the hatchet'--listen to what he said 3 days ago. HERE and, the 2015 Update.
Furthermore, part of his angry write-in to the CDB, included... "the men and women of the Cleveland Police Dept. deserve to not be used as pawns in political games."...interestingly though, he had no soothing comment or public words of wisdom 4 months ago, when Wes Snyder, the former Cleveland Police Chief resigned, and then tried to un-resign, in one of the worst police scandals anywhere.
Update 2015: After losing his bid to replace his boss in the race for district attorney in 2014, Hatchett has taken a job in the public defender's office.
Cleveland Police Dept.
